Even though on most days our appointment schedule to fully booked, our goal is for you to always have someone you can turn to to help when your pet needs immediate medical attention. We are currently partnering with emergency centers in the area to assist your pets when our office is closed or we are unable to see your pet.
What qualifies as a pet emergency?
- Choking, heavy panting, trouble breathing
- Uncontrolled vomiting/diarrhea
- Blood in stool/vomit
- Seizures
- Has not consumed food/water in 24 hours
- Lethargic and/or disoriented
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Bite injuries, lacerations
- Getting hit by a car
- Falling from a height
- Unusually low or high temperature
- Foaming at the mouth
- Injury to the eye
- Labor (birthing) difficulties
