Our diagnostic tools can provide us with the information we need to treat pets fully and keep them healthy. Schedule a consultation by calling us at (734) 847-6751 or make an appointment online.
Laboratory Testing For Dogs and Cats
Our doctors and technicians can perform a wide range of diagnostic tests in-house. For cases in which prompt treatment is needed, our laboratory equipment can produce results quickly. Tests we offer in-house include:
- CBC - Complete Blood Count
- Chemistry profiles
- Fecal tests
- Urinalysis
- Skin & Ear Diagnostics
- Cytology (cell evaluation)
- Screening for certain parasitic and infectious diseases
For more specialized diagnostics and consultations, we send samples to both private and university laboratories.
Digital Radiography
Digital X-ray is one of the most common imaging techniques in use. We are proud to have ultramodern X-ray technology with AI technology that produces clearer images in a shorter amount of time. This means less handling and stress for your pet, and a higher-quality image for us to review.
One of our doctors may recommend X-rays for your pet if they suspect arthritis, broken bones, heart problems or an intestinal blockage. In addition, we can study the chest, abdominal and skeletal systems in greater detail.
Ultrasonography for Dogs and Cats
Ultrasound is a painless, non-invasive tool that uses soundwaves instead of radiation to produce images of the internal organs. Ultrasound procedures are ideal for capturing moving, real-time images of the abdominal and chest cavities, as well as diagnosing pregnancies.
We also have the ability to perform echocardiography, a special ultrasound evaluation of heart function. Additionally, we can detect tumors and fluid in the abdomen and study the shape, texture and size of individual internal organs.
Our team members will always go above and beyond to help your pet feel as comfortable as possible during their diagnostic procedure. If you would like to know more about what to expect or need to discuss your pet's test results, let us know at (734) 847-6751.
